Daniel Boulud is a heavy-hitting chef, especially when it comes to Foodable 25s. For the first time in Miami, his DB Bistro Moderne concept is topping the list. With a social score of 141.73, DB Bistro Moderne mixes “French bistro cooking and contemporary American flavors.” Located in downtown Miami’s JW Marriott Marquis, the kitchen is helmed by Executive Chef Jason Pringle, with Jerome Maure as Pastry Chef and Christopher Birnie-Visscher as Sommelier. With a sleek setup, sexy atmosphere and succulent dishes, we can see why Miamians are showing the restaurant lots of love on social.
Last month’s No. 1, The Forge, falls a bit to No. 4. Also taking a dip are Area 31, PB Steak, Il Gabbiano, Huahua’s Taqueria and Tongue & Cheek. Sugarcane jumped from No. 19 to a Top 10 spot at No. 7, and Cipriani makes an impressive move from No. 22 to No. 9.
Prime 112, The Dutch, Restaurant Michael Schwartz, and Prime Italian all moved back onto the list this month, kicking out the restaurant formerly known as 1500 Degrees (recently rebranded as 15 steps), Lure Fishbar, Red, The Steakhouse, and Bar Crudo.
