Bourbon Steak steadied its way – from No. 4 in December and No. 2 in January – to No. 1 this month, swapping place’s with January’s top runner Brasserie Beck. Also rounding out the Top 5 for February are Birch & Barley, Proof (making a large jump from the past two months), and Black’s Bar & Kitchen. Most of the restaurants that carried over from January stayed within similar rankings on the list, though a handful of new restaurants made an appearance.
Making the #Foodable 25 list for the first time this month are The Red Hen, Rose’s Luxury, Ghibellina, and Vidalia, kicking off Cava Mezze, Blue Duck Tavern, Fiola da Fabio Trabocchi, and The Liberty Tavern.
Named “Restaurant of the Year” by DC Modern Luxury, Bourbon Steak, located in the Four Seasons, is a concept by James Beard Award-winning chef Michael Mina. Its menu boasts corn-fed, all-natural meats and line-caught seafood with farm fresh sides, and more than 500 wines. The space – which houses a lounge for socializing – includes an urban garden and courtyard. Aside from its on-site offerings, Bourbon Steak provides excellent customer service on social, which can be seen by simply scanning their Twitter feed or Facebook page.
