This month, Birch & Barley is replaced with Mike Isabella’s Graffiato, its first Foodable Top 25 at No. 1. Proof and Restaurant Eve round out the Top 3, with Birch & Barley falling to No. 4.
There were quite a few big movers for April, including Blue Duck Tavern (climbing from No. 21 to No. 5) and Minibar by José Andrés (falling to No. 21 from No. 8). Roofers Union makes its Foodable Top 25 premiere, and we welcome L'Auberge Chez Francois back onto the list.
Located in Chinatown, Graffiato features two floors for diners and boasts crafted comfort food from seasonal produce, locally cured hams (for the restaurant’s open ham bar), hand-rolled pastas, and wood oven roasted dishes, including artisanal pizzas (from a large wood pizza oven tucked inside the venue). The restaurant even serves Prosecco on tap.
