June marks the debut of Boston’s Foodable Top 25 Restaurants. Coming in at No. 1 with a Social Score of 167.39 is Union Square’s Bronwyn, which features hand-crafted sausages, schnitzels, and other German fare, while also pulling inspiration from Central and Eastern Europe. Named after Chef Tim Wiechmann’s wife, Bronwyn’s interior evokes the spirit of a rustic European tavern/bistro with eclectic pieces thrown in the mix from the Chef’s own travels. The restaurant was recently dubbed as having one of “America’s Best Hot Dogs” by Travel + Leisure for its “Brondog” (melted Emmentaler cheese and vinegary sauerbraten on a poppy seed potato bun).
Rounding out the Top 5 are Rendezvous in Central Square, Journeyman, Eastern Standard, and Bibim, respectively.
If you’re just signing on, our monthly Top 25 rankings are not hand-selected by us, but rather, by you — our Restaurant Social Media Index drills down into each city’s local audience or geo-located social actions, and ranks restaurant brands by consumer sentiment and influence across 17 social media platforms depending on what you’re saying on social about the brands.
