Things are certainly heating up in Chicago, which arguably has one of, if not the best culinary scenes in the country. Foodable's Chicago Top 25 list returns with nine restaurants making their debut on the Foodable Top 25, eight of which are in the top 10.

At No. 2, we welcome Oriole, another restaurant in the West Loop to the list. This fine-dining restaurant serving New American fare has a star-studded staff with the Michelin star awarded Executive Chef & Owner Noah Sandoval and Pastry Chef & Partner Genie Kwon.

Rounding out the top three, is BLVD, another New American restaurant in the West Loop making its debut. BLVD is known for its upscale classics being served in a space that gives guests the ultimate Old Hollywood vibes.

As for the rest of the new restaurants– we welcome the New American casual dining restaurant Smyth and The Loyalist at No. 4; the Korean gem Hanbun at No. 5; the Alinea Group's Roister at No. 6; the Italian restaurant Gibsons Italia at No. 7; the trendy Mexican restaurant Barrio at No. 9; and Rick Bayless' Mexican restaurant Lena Brava at No. 11.

Philadelphia Top 25 Restaurants: November 2017

You'll be feeling the love in "The City of Brotherly Love" with our latest round of Philadelphia's Top 25 Restaurants. And there's a reason the No. 1 restaurant for November is the champion — it doesn't rest on its laurels, although its name may suggest otherwise. Laurel, a stylish, intimate restaurant that serves French and American fare, with Chef Nicholas Elmi at the helm, took the throne with a score of 177.99. Following close behind at 177.05 is Fond, complete with homemade bread and desserts, which we're sure guests are fond of.

Jokes aside, the competition was fierce, but Vedge rose through the ranks. From its previous place at No. 14, it landed at No. 5, jumping nine spots on the board. Pretty impressive, especially for having only a strictly vegetarian menu. While one restaurant grew in popularity, an old favorite took a heavy drop. NOORD eetcafe, which sat comfortably at No. 9, is now barely hanging on at No. 20. That's not to discredit them, as being on the Top 25 is already an accomplishment, but will we see this hotspot make a comeback?

Speaking of comeback, let's welcome back three restaurants, who haven't appeared in our Top 25 since December 2015: Vernick Food & Drink, V Street, and Bibou. And it's looking like good things come in threes, because we have three newcomers who have made their debut to the Top 25. Congratulations to the modern and sophisticated Fork, the cozy and classic A Mano, and the hip and seafood-centric Wister BYOB!

Curious to see the rest of the countdown? Check out the full list below.

New Orleans Top 25 Restaurants: August 2017

The restaurant industry in New Orleans is exemplary of endurance, hard work and strong community ties. From rebuilding after a natural disaster like Hurricane Katrina, serving as a social hub to provide normalcy to the community in a time of need, to becoming a major driver of the city’s economy, recently leading in restaurant openings across the nation. NOLA, as the Big Easy has been popularly called in the last decade, serves as a great model to follow for places like Houston, Texas, the Florida Keys and even Puerto Rico, which all have suffered major hits from hurricanes in 2017.

Today, we bring you details on the best restaurants which have landed on Foodable’s New Orleans Top 25 list.

Balise, a Top 25 veteran, not only made the Top 10 list, but also stole the coveted No. 1 spot after placing No. 12 in our last ranking. It is owned and operated by the same people that are behind La Petite Grocery, which ranks at No. 15 in this list.

Other veterans that join Balise in the Top 10 list, include; St. Roch Market at No. 5, Paladar 511 at No. 6, and Pêche at No. 10, each previously ranking at No. 19, No. 13, and No. 15, respectively.

After a long hiatus, Cochon Butcher is back at No. 2 demonstrating a big jump in ranking. We hadn’t seen this swine-forward restaurant grace our Top 25 list since 2015, but last time Foodable was in NOLA we were sure to stop by to check it out. Watch the Fast Casual Nation episode, here.

At No. 3, you can find N7, the hidden, underground French bistro that keeps proving to be successful without any online presence. Though the restaurant doesn’t have a company website or social media handles, that doesn’t stop adventurous visitors from talking and posting about it online.

Two newcomers to the Top 25 list, are: Brigtsen’s Restaurant at the No. 11 spot and Clancy’s at No. 18. Brigtsen’s is named after its owners, Chef Frank, and his wife, Marna Brigtsen, boasting Creole/Acadian cooking. An interesting plate to try is the Brigtsen’s Baked Oyster with bacon, leeks, creamed spinach and romano.

Lastly, back to the hot list after a short hiatus, are: Avo at No. 22, Boucherie at No. 23, and Galatorie’s at No. 25.
