New York City Top 25 Restaurants: August 2014

Our Foodable Top 25 NYC Restaurant list proves to be consistent again this month. The list usually consists of familiar names, displaying that these restaurants know how to keep their social activity consistent. Not to mention– the social scores are of the highest across the country.

However, there is some movement between these NYC Top 25 veterans. Alder landed the no.1 spot, after being 3rd last month. While there were some major climbs such as, The Spotted Pig launched from no. 18 to no. 4, with the high social score of 174.92. Balthazer restaurant similarly, moved from no. 20 to being placed in the top five at no. 5 this month. DB Bistro Moderne, which you may have seen this name on other city lists, stayed at no. 21.

New York City Top 25 Restaurants: October 2013

New York City doesn't mess around when it comes to food. As the mothership of culinary cities in the U.S., it's easier to fail than to succeed in this dog-eat-dog market. The 25 restaurants below are not only bringing it, they're helping to redefine the landscape, and social consumers are noticing.

Marc Forgione is undoubtedly one of them. Climbing from No. 2 and taking the top spot from ABC Kitchen, Restaurant Marc Forgione hits on all the key components: impeccable dishes on a well-thought-out menu, innovative drinks, a cozy rustic meets urban loft atmosphere, and impressive service. On social, Forgione has more than 23K Twitter followers, more than 4K Facebook fans, and an Instagram account to salivate over.

Congratulations to all those who made the list, including some new additions for the month of October: The Modern and Alder.

Our #Foodable25 rankings aren't like most because they're not hand-selected – our proprietary Restaurant Social Media Index pulls data from social restaurant consumers from more than 17 social platforms to pinpoint who has the highest consumer sentiment and influence each month.
