Philadelphia Top 25 Restaurants: November 2017

You'll be feeling the love in "The City of Brotherly Love" with our latest round of Philadelphia's Top 25 Restaurants. And there's a reason the No. 1 restaurant for November is the champion — it doesn't rest on its laurels, although its name may suggest otherwise. Laurel, a stylish, intimate restaurant that serves French and American fare, with Chef Nicholas Elmi at the helm, took the throne with a score of 177.99. Following close behind at 177.05 is Fond, complete with homemade bread and desserts, which we're sure guests are fond of.

Jokes aside, the competition was fierce, but Vedge rose through the ranks. From its previous place at No. 14, it landed at No. 5, jumping nine spots on the board. Pretty impressive, especially for having only a strictly vegetarian menu. While one restaurant grew in popularity, an old favorite took a heavy drop. NOORD eetcafe, which sat comfortably at No. 9, is now barely hanging on at No. 20. That's not to discredit them, as being on the Top 25 is already an accomplishment, but will we see this hotspot make a comeback?

Speaking of comeback, let's welcome back three restaurants, who haven't appeared in our Top 25 since December 2015: Vernick Food & Drink, V Street, and Bibou. And it's looking like good things come in threes, because we have three newcomers who have made their debut to the Top 25. Congratulations to the modern and sophisticated Fork, the cozy and classic A Mano, and the hip and seafood-centric Wister BYOB!

Dallas Top 25 Restaurants: August 2017

It appears as though the Dallas' weather isn't the only thing heating up this summer. Foodable's Dallas Top 25 Restaurant list returns with higher than ever scores, meaning the restaurant scene in this fun city is certainly creating more of A social buzz!

Last ranking's No. 5 Cane Rosso makes an impressive climb to No. 1 this month, but we aren't surprised. Known for its wood-fired Neapolitan pizzas and Italian fare, this restaurant has repeatedly been named the "Best PIzza in Dallas" by "D Magazine."

While the gastropub, The Blind Butcher makes a drop to No. 2. and the seafood gem Montlake Cut makes its first ever debut on the list at No. 3!

But Montlake Cut isn't the only restaurant Foodable welcomes to the Dallas Top 25! Junction Craft + Kitchen, the creative concept serving Southern cuisine, lands at No. 4.

The steakhouse created by the culinary mastermind and chef Nick Badovinus, Town Hearth lands at No. 10. The affordable and casual taco joint, Trompo Taco makes its debut at No. 13 and the Don't Tell Supper Club, known to serve sharable plates with a side of entertainment, joins the list at No. 14.

Check out what other restaurants landed on this ranking below!

Dallas Top 25 Restaurants: June 2016

Howdy, Dallas. This month's Top 25 was certainly a rodeo, as it came with some notable jumps and shakeups. Say congratulations to The Blind Butcher for claiming the crown at No. 1 after taking a nice leap from its previous No. 7 ranking. From its cured meats, craft beer, and delicious American fare, it's no surprise to see this contender take the top at a score of 179.65. French-inspired Boulevardier followed close behind with a score of 178.34, falling to second after being first in the last Dallas Top 25.

But those aren't the only restaurants we should be clapping our hands for. Say congrats to two new brands appearing on the ranking for the first time: the upscale, bright, and creative Cedar Grove coming in at an impressive No. 4 debut, and Sprezza at No. 12, delighting guests with pizza, pasta, and other Italian favorites.

Though there were some risers, one brand took the plunge. Knife, known for its modern spin on steakhouse fare, dropped from No. 6 to No. 20. Will it make a comeback the next round? Check out the full list below and get ready to dig in.

Detroit Top 25 Restaurants: May 2016

Not a lot has changed with the top three restaurants in the May 2016 Detroit Top 25, as revealed by the social consumer data by Foodable Labs. The tops are still the same, but have switched positions (Roast moves from first to second; Wright & Co. moves from second to third; and Selden Standard moves from third to first).

While little has changed in the top three, there are some newcomers to the list: Antietam, Parks & Rec Diner, Rock City Eatery and Cafe D'Mongo's Speakeasy.

In addition to the weekend tasting and brunch menus, Antietam’s dinner menu features such favorites as parsnip apple bisque, oxtail terrine, veal osso bucco, and rack of lamb.

Parks & Rec Diner, on the other hand, presents a more laid back dining experience in a cozy, sit-down diner, which features new twists on standard breakfast favorites. They keep it local with food from suppliers like Keep Growing Detroit, Recovery Park Farms, LaBrosse Farms, Grown in Detroit, Zingermans Bakery, and Rhulig Farm.

Rock City Eatery, touting “food, booze, pie,” prides itself on an ever-changing and locally sourced menu. On it, you might find everything from spicy Brussels sprouts and poutine to Korean bowls and Spanish octopus to lamb cheeseburgers.

At the other end of the spectrum, Café D’Mongo is described as an “eclectic hipster watering hole with quirky decor featuring classic drinks and live music.” The establishment’s Facebook page warns: “We're a cast of characters you won't want to miss!” Besides the cocktails and atmosphere, the food is an array of unique choices like the chickpea fritter, soy BLT, egg and eggplant plate, and barbecue seitan.

Dallas Top 25 Restaurants: February 2016

An all veteran list of restaurants make up this month's Dallas Top 25 Restaurants list, albeit with some major shakeups to last months standings. Former No. 20 Boulevardier made an impressive jump up the list, taking top honors at No. 1, followed closely behind by former No. 7 Hattie's and former No. 1 Lucia, ranking in at No. 2 and No. 3 respectively.

Knife restaurant also made its return to the list after a several month absence.

And just as there were some major jumps up the list, several other former top ranked restaurants slid down as well, including former No. 3 CBD Provisions that slipped to No. 10 and former No. 4 Abacus that slipped to No. 14.
