A Ghostly Alternative: Global Warming's Effect on Food

What would the foodscape look like if - or when - global warming sinks in? With the exception of forward-thinking and plugged-in chefs, it's a question that most of us wouldn't even think of. Even still, the environmental-turned-political debate continues to remain ignored by most.

Ghost Food truck has created a business answering this question for us. The sterile truck, which elicits a lab-like feel, serves up food that replaces harvested, seasonal or temperature-dependent ingredients, like chocolate and peanut butter, with substitutes that are resistant to climate change. In reality, these ingredients alone aren't true to their supposed flavors.
