Chicago Food Film Fest Includes All the Necessary Ingredients

Smellovision. At some point or another, you know you’ve wished for it. Even better than being able to smell food through a television is being able to taste the food through the screen. Well, that’s probably never going to happen, but here’s the next best thing: the Food Film Fest, which recently kicked off in Chicago this week (with sister events in Charleston and New York), is an event to “taste what you see on the screen.”

The event displays numerous food-focused films, and viewers are served the food being watched. Wednesday night’s kickoff began with the film “Biting in to the Ramen Burger.” Guests, of course, were fed ramen burgers made by Keizo Shimamoto himself.
