LA City Council Members Fight for Street Food Vendors

Food trucks have driven into our hearts quickly. On-the-go service with food – both of comfort and even some healthy offerings that’s cheap, easy and of good quality? Sign us up.

But not all street food is created equal, at least according to LA city officials. Those pushing hot dog, taco, and other food carts are putting themselves at risk for being arrested since the act of doing so is illegal in the city of angels. But, alas, as of this week, two Los Angeles City Council members are trying to legalize the sale of food and wares on the city’s sidewalks.
