Food Cities, and Why Dallas Dining is More Progressive Than You Think

There are plenty of great food cities in the United States, some more pronounced than others. At the moment, aside from our national blog, Foodable covers the dining scene in Chicago, Los Angeles, Miami, New York City, San Francisco, and Washington, D.C. Each new quarter, we plan to add more locations into the mix because we're aware that there are more cities out there with a deep sense of culinary cool. (And let's not forget about a dose of international foodie findings, which are already scattered throughout our National trending section, with more to come.) With the help of our local Foodable Star contributors, we are able to keep a real-time pulse in, essentially, each "corner" of the world.

After tossing a slew of options around, the Foodable editorial team has officially decided on which three new cities will be rolled out in the first quarter of 2014: Vegas, Portland and Dallas.
