What do you get when you crowdsource ingredients for your beer? That's exactly what one Scottish brewery wanted to find out. Enter #MashTag: the first Twitter-inspired beer. BrewDog brewery asked its Twitter followers, Facebook friends and blog readers to vote on ingredients for a new brew (they even crowdsourced the name), and what they got was an American brown ale with New Zealand hops aged on hazelnut and oak chips.
