Ramen. The dorm-approved meal that's gotten so many of us by in our college years. If you've been living under a rock, our favorite noodle has gotten an upgrade and is now being served at more upscale eateries as part of more delectable dishes.
While the ramen craze isn't exactly new anymore, Keizo Shimamoto has taken it to a whole other level with the infamous ramen burger, a creation of grilled beef, secret sauce, and fried buns of ramen. (You may remember seeing this infamous line of people at a recent Williamsburg food market waiting for the much-anticipated hybrid. Naturally, there was also a Foursquare check-in specifically created for the Ramen Burger Line.)
It's no surprise that the Big Apple is home to yet another crazy culinary creation. (Is it safe to say cronuts have become stale yet?)
