Despite much debate that restaurants are best experienced a few months in - giving an establishment time to work out the kinks and "grow into itself," there's something we find undeniably charming about a new space.
New LA joints have been popping up all over the place this summer, including an Italian eatery in Culver City that does pasta the classic way: hand-cut, no machines included. The space, called Bucato, has forbidden cell phones and photos. Which brings us to a thought-provoking question: If a meal hasn't been Instagrammed, did it actually happen?
