The restaurant industry is a much-criticized space - just look at Yelp, TripAdvisor, Twitter, and the countless other commentary platforms. It comes with the territory. Not everyone will love your restaurant, not everyone will hate it (in which case, you'll be out of business by the end of the week).
Eater recently compiled an anonymous list of the biggest gripes from both notable food bloggers, as well as restaurant industry professionals, of the New York dining scene. As the old adage goes, If you can make it in New York, you can make it anywhere. This couldn't be more true for restaurateurs and chefs in the Big Apple.
