SF Chefs, San Francisco's premier food, wine and spirit festival, wrapped up this weekend, but we're still buzzing about what was dished up. Over 200 of SF's finest chefs, restaurants, wineries and breweries brought their A-game and best recipes to The Grand Tasting Tent on Union Square. And although it was entirely impossible to pick just one favorite, we found this Serious Eats article that breaks down the Best Bites the event had to offer. According to the team at Serious Eats, "One of the standouts of the evening came not from the Bay Area, but from guest chef Al Brown of Depot in Aukland, New Zealand, who roasted a Middle Eastern-spiced lamb shoulder with fried curry leaves and a spiced eggplant jam."
