MTV announced this week that it will be adding two new food-related shows to its roster: "Snackdown" and "House of Food."

"Snackdown," hosted by Baohaus chef and self-proclaimed snackmaster Eddie Huang, is described as "amateur chefs battling it out in an array of snack-inspired challenges for a cash prize and spot in the 'Snackdown' cookbook."

"House of Food" is more of a "Top Chef meets Big Brother" reality show featuring amateur chefs who compete for the apprenticeship of a lifetime.
