Chick-fil-A Returns to Washington

It's official Chick-fil-A is making a come back to Washington state. They are starting on the outskirts of Seattle at three locations in Bellevue, Lynnwood, and Tacoma. The brand is banking on drive-through sales, which account for 60% of store sales. 

The chain has sourced food from Washington for a long time. The company will be continuing to source from more local suppliers. Why do you think it took so long to expand to this area?
