The non-profit, known as MarketShare plans to develop an international street food market. By incubating mobile start up food businesses, founder Philip Deng plans to launch concepts to fill this market in the next few years. 

MarketShare will assist restaurant start ups by developing business plans and recipes, licensing, providing equipment, and by offering financial and educational resources. The first two fellows are Jackie Nkirote, from Kenya and Rosario “Chato” Carver, from the Philippines. To be selected for a fellowship, both Carver and Nkirote had to submit applications, complete interviews, and cook for a panel of culinary judges. Read More
