From completely new concepts to pre-existing ones with new locations, Portland’s restaurant scene is gearing up for an exciting first quarter of 2014. Taqueria Nueve has already opened (January 27th) on Southeast Washington Street, where Beaker & Flask used to reside, but now includes new fare – including vegetarian options – alongside old favorites. Also switching things up is Clyde Common, with new chef Johnny Leach, formerly of Momofuku and Del Posto. 

Some new joints to look forward to include an 8,000-square-foot Coopers Hall, which will have “the most extensive on-top wine program in the country.” Read More
