When does brand loyalty trump menu item loyalty? In other words, if a restaurant or food brand introduces a new product, a new dish, or a new day-part, how likely are guests – even those that are extremely loyal to the brand – to try it? While this is probably just based on an individual’s open-mindedness to trying new things, it seems that when it comes to segments like fast food, we generally stick to what we know.
