As some of you might remember, we reported back in November that McDonald’s is expanding on customization. Over the past few years especially, fast casuals have been taking business away from fast food restaurants, forcing brands like McDonald’s to wake up and integrate similar components – healthier offerings, a more modern atmosphere, better customer service and more customization, to name a few – into their model.
Well, a McDonald’s market test for a ‘Build Your Own Burger’ in Laguna Niguel proved to be so successful that McD’s is strongly considering broadening the feature – if it can be scaled, that is.
