The healthy eating trend has just hit vending machines in Chicago. Farmer’s Fridge, a health food kiosk, features organic selections of freshly made salads and snacks for not only omnivores, but vegans, as well. The invention was the brainchild of Midwest entrepreneur Luke Sanders, and comes at the perfect time. Creating more options for on-the-go, health-conscious eaters who don’t have time to hit a Whole Foods or a healthy restaurant is much-needed in the food space, where diners are usually forced between convenience and their health.
