With the focus of ‘local’ being so prominent now, it’s no wonder single-unit concepts are keeping their head above water. Great food, friendly service and an atmosphere that breeds community certainly equate to a reassurance that quantity doesn’t always trump quality.
We realize this to be true. In our proprietary Restaurant Social Media Index, for example, restaurant brands are not measured based on size. Each core category — influence, sentiment, engagement — is cross-referenced to a weighted scale and advanced Social Insights Algorithm that provides a level playing field for all brands participating, big or small.
It’s because of this that single-unit brands like AJ Bombers have been making the RSMI’s Top 250 Brands list for as long as we can remember. But there are plenty other single-unit brands out there that deserve some recognition, especially to put on the radar of those not in that market. QSR magazine recently compiled a hand-selected list of some of their favorites. (Please note that RSMI data was not used in the selection of these single-unit restaurants). Read More to see who made the list.
