Harpoon Brewery Gives Employees More Control with New Stock Ownership Plan

When it comes to restaurants, your biggest brand ambassadors are your employees. When done correctly, they're the ones who not only speak to guests on a regular basis, but will recommend the restaurant to friends and strangers alike, and represent your brand long after their shift has ended. Most establishments realize this, but few take the necessary steps in rewarding their employees for spreading the word. 

Enter Harpoon: the Boston-based brewery that, as of August 1st, will institute an Employee Stock Ownership Plan, giving employees a stake of 48 percent in the company.
