There’s no denying that some generational stereotypes are pretty much spot-on. Most Millennials, for example, are non-committal because they have a handful of options for any given decision at their fingertips (thanks to social media and the Internet). And it’s this type of behavior that restaurants are seeing the end-result of — for better or worse. When it comes to fine dining, Millennials are less likely to make a reservation (except for a planned occasion, perhaps), knowing they can just go somewhere else if there’s too long of a wait.
