Pretty much every city has a restaurant week and it gives the local restaurants a chance to attract new dining guests. Boston's restaurant week, now coined as Dine Out Boston, seems to be losing more restaurant recruits each year. This year the August event had only 172 participating restaurants, whereas in 2013– there were 194 participating restaurants.
