A chef’s job is never really done. Whether at work or at home, it’s common for lines to blur, especially when you’re spearheading a 24-hour operation. But when you make food your life, sometimes even the “bitter” can be sweet.
In this kickoff episode of “Food As a Lifestyle” Season 2, we shadow Chef Cyrille Pannier, executive chef at the Four Seasons Hotel Los Angeles at Beverly Hills. Pannier has been cooking for more than 30 years and has been with the Four Seasons for 20 of them.
Watch the full episode as we take viewers inside Pannier’s home and into his Four Seasons kitchen. Between a family dinner feast after foraging at a local farmers market, and seeing firsthand what a typical day looks like while managing a crew of 65, Pannier gives us an intimate look into what it truly means to make food a lifestyle.
Stay tuned for upcoming episodes, where we give viewers a glimpse into the life of a different culinary star each episode.
