Miami's Hottest Chefs Predict the 2015 Food Trends

In 2014, foodies were obsessed with the super nutritious vegetable kale. But, it is a new year and we have some new predictions from Miami’s top chefs on what consumers will be eating and drinking in 2015.  

Nina Compton, runner up on Top Chef season 11 predicts “broccoli spigarello as the new kale, amaranth as the new quinoa, and the coming of matcha.” On the other hand, Mike Pirolo, chef and owner of Macchialina in Miami Beach says that, “kale is out and cauliflower is in.”  

Besides the super vegetable craze, Giorgio Rapicavoli, chef and owner of Eating House in Coral Gables believes that “chefs will continue to reach to our past for inspiration,” and “create a style of food that reflects our American Tradition.” To find out what other top chefs think about food predictions for 2015 read more here.
