The Austin culinary scene is receiving high praise this month. Only a week after six Austin restaurants were named semi-finalists for the prestigious James Beard Awards, two more restaurants were chosen by GQ to top the magazine’s annual Most Outstanding Restaurant list.
Dai Due was named the 12th best on the list, which comes as no surprise as the former farmers’ market stand turned restaurant was also just named as one of OpenTable’s top restaurants of the year and Dai Due chef Jesse Griffith was named one of Zagat’s top culinary stars.
