Foodable WebTV Network is excited to announce a recent partnership with the American Culinary Federation (ACF), an 86-year-old organization dedicated to promoting the professional image of American chefs worldwide through education of culinarians at all levels.

Foodable has been chosen to create custom video content around (and beyond) the ACF’s annual main event — the Cook. Craft. Create. ACF National Convention & Show, held July 30th-August 3rd in Orlando. The custom content package will entail on-location filming and in-house production of chef- and culinary-forward video content specifically created for the ACF.

Additionally, FoodableTV.com will feature a section on its site showcasing some ACF competitions and chef stories, including footage at this year’s event.

Why Video?

The ACF decided video was the best route to take to reinvigorate the long-running organization’s brand image.

“We are looking to create video content that tells our story in a compelling, modern way that can be used across our social media platforms," says ACF President Thomas J. Macrina, CEC, CCA, AAC. “Foodable TV’s work made us feel confident that they understand the culinary industry and how to tell its story to the modern chef.”

According to Paul Barron, Founder/CEO and Executive Producer at Foodable, it’s opportunities like this that could spark innovation for foodservice brands.

"We are delighted to partner with the American Culinary Federation in the creation of some amazing custom content, which we see as the future of organizations like the ACF when it comes to spreading the word,” says Barron.

Partnership Benefits

A major focus of the Foodable media platform is to bring to light the realities of the foodservice industry — challenges and solutions, trends and news — that is oftentimes not fully depicted in “reality” television today. With that being said, this partnership certainly is a strategic win for both parties.

“Compelling stories and access with the ACF is a key strategy in reaching our global Foodable audience," says Barron. "It’s programs like this that could spawn the next ‘top chef’ or next culinary sensation. This will change the way organizations like the ACF reach a new audience that is focused on culinary innovation.”

The Launch of Foodable CREATE

This customized offering comes as part of the network’s new Foodable CREATE service, a program that offers different packages and features to tell a brand’s story through custom video, editorial, social and digital content.
