Austin newcomer Stella San Jac, set to open early next month in the new Westin hotel, is hoping to win over Austinites by serving up dishes that encapsulate the essence of the city itself. Serving what the restaurant refers to as "Austin-American" cuisine, Stella San Jac plans to feature a number of locally inspired dishes, such as gulf shrimp and lump crab rolls, short ribs and sweet potato mash, and their specialty - homemade biscuits. In addition, the restaurant will also feature a number of local brews and seasonal cocktails, each with their own Austin flair.
Named Stella, the Latin for star, in reference to the Lone Star State, Stella San Jac also plans to showcase Austin's vibrant music scene through a number of design elements that will feature the Stella guitar. Learn more about the uniquely Austin restaurant here
