With the recent avian flu outbreak, egg prices have reached a record high in the United States with the country losing over 10% of its egg laying chickens. As such, local businesses have been forced to shoulder the burden of this increase in price, with some Vegas bakeries estimating that liquid egg whites have quadrupled in just the past two months.
