In Denver, a number of local restaurants and food businesses have joined forces to support the "We Don't Waste" nonprofit organization working to alleviate hunger in Colorado. By working together to reduce waste by collecting restaurant food products and distributing it to various charitable organizations that provide food to the hungry, the "We Don't Waste" movement serves more than 6,500 individuals a day.

In addition to food donations, many restaurant chefs have also begun getting involved by helping the organization to raise money to buy new refrigerated trucks to help with food distribution. Learn more about these local restaurants' efforts to end hunger here
