Austin local favorite Dai Due was recently named to Bon Appetit's "Hot 10 America's Best New Restaurants," the only Texas restaurant to make the coveted list. The restaurant/butcher shop, located in East Austin, took the number 6 slot, joining the likes of Los Angeles' Gjusta and Petit Trois as well as San Francisco's Al's Place which took "Restaurant of the Year."
Originally beginning as a series of pop-up dinners hosted by husband and wife team Jesse Griffiths and Tamara Mayfield, Dai Due later evolved into a food trailer and by 2014, the duo decided to open their own brick and mortar.
