Louisiana, however, has embraced the craft beer industry and boasts a number of local breweries throughout the state. Experts believe that issues with lack of space, high real-estate costs, and the city's own bureaucracy are to blame for halting more brewery development in New Orleans proper.
Yet while slower to emerge, New Orleans is currently enjoying a craft beer boom that has taken the city by storm, catering to visitors and locals alike.
