According to Business Insider, Snapchat has a handy new app for advertisers. Meet: Snap to Store, the latest tech tool that can track where users go to shop, eat, and explore. This is a huge win for advertisers because they can target their marketing ads within a specific region in real-time.
And with 80% of Snapchat users utilizing the popular app while in a restaurant, says Mashable.com, this could be an even bigger win for dining venues.
Several advertisers received early access to the new app, including Wendy’s. The fast food giant reported a whopping 42,000 customers eating at one of its locations after a Snapchat geofilter was released for its new Jalapeño Fresco Spicy Chicken sandwich.
