GrubStreet recently reported that Taco Bell has some big plans in the next five years. During this time, the Mexican fast food giant plans to open 9,000 locations found all over the globe, empathizing on international growth.
In places like India and Brazil, it’s said that at least 100 restaurants are slated to open, and this massive expansion is expected to bring in some serious cash. GrubStreet says these soon-to-open locations will have Taco Bell bringing in “$15 billion in annual sales.”
But the United States isn’t completely left out in this equation either. The company wants to grow more of the “Cantina locations" (as seen in Wicker Park, Chicago) that serve booze and tapas-style plates, so expect more of those to come in your neighborhood soon.
