Food Hall Made of Shipping Containers Comes to Orange County

The OCR says Orange County is about to get a food hall constructed of only shipping containers. The very first of its kind to hit the area.  

The soon-to-come attraction is said to be called, SteelCraft Garden Grove located on the property of the former Black Angus venue. The food hall with sell an array of items (straight from the containers) from both artisans and restaurants. 

“We are thrilled and incredibly grateful for the opportunity to bring SteelCraft to Garden Grove,” said SteelCraft founder Kim Gros in a press release. “In my heart, yes, I thought SteelCraft would grow to something bigger, but in my head I didn’t think it would grow so quickly.”

Long Beach already has a SteelCraft (pictured), which has been bringing in the shoppers, selling goods from its 10 shipping containers. SteelCraft Garden Grove is slated to have an 20 shipping containers in total.

The OCR states SteelCraft Garden Grove is planning to open next year sometime in the spring or summer season.
