Michelle Obama to Speak At WFF's Leadership Conference in March


Looks like former First Lady Michelle Obama will be addressing the attendants of the Women’s Foodservice Forum (WFF) annual conference on March 7.

WFF is based in Dallas, Texas and it will host its 29th annual leadership conference at the Hilton Anatole Hotel from March 4 through March 7 .

Mrs. Obama will engage in a conversation with Hattie Hill, president and CEO of WFF to discuss the importance of supporting the advancement of women in the workplace.

This organization’s annual leadership development conference will bring together over 3,000 food industry professionals to provide comprehensive educational workshops for emerging leaders and executives, alike.

The former First Lady will be participating at the closing session of the WFF conference.

“We are thrilled that Mrs. Obama will join us and our other esteemed speakers,” said Hattie Hill, WFF president and CEO, in a statement. “She is a charismatic and inspiring role model that embodies the limitless possibilities that we want women in the food industry to aspire for.”

Attendants will also listen to more than 50 best-selling authors and leadership experts.

Michelle Obama served as First Lady of the United States for eight years and during that time she pioneered four key initiatives. Two of those initiatives had to do with education: Reach Higher and Let Girls Learn, to inspire young people to seek higher education and help young women go to school around the world.
