According to Apple, iTunes podcasts is now the home to more than 525,000 active shows with about 18.5 million episodes available for your hearing pleasure. This is not limited to common languages like English, Spanish, Italian etc. but over 100 different languages.
With Apple’s podcasts spanning the globe, covering 155 countries, there are “29 groupings of localized editorial,” according to Apple.
With steady content growth, a massive fanbase has followed. Apple has hit a record high of 50 billion podcast episode downloads.
