The "feel good fast food" restaurant will be opening its second location in Austin, Texas after the first location was proven to be a success.

The fast casual concept aims to deliver quality food fast to its diners and the first store took over 192,000 orders within its first year. The chicken served is all-natural, mindfully sourced, vegetarian-fed, along with being antibiotic free.

So what can the brand attribute its success to? The concept is effectively leveraging trends.

Besides offering high-quality chicken, to appeal to the health-conscious consumer, the brand offers both grilled and fried sandwiches to diners with the option to select a whole wheat bun, sourced from the New World Bakery. For those with dietary restrictions, gluten-free and vegan selections are available, as well.

For those eco-friendly consumers, the brand uses planet-friendly packaging that is compostable or recyclable.

Flyrite Chicken is also catering to the craft beverage trend, with locally sourced coffee and a selection of local craft beers on draft.

The concept launched an extensive breakfast menu this summer to entice those foodies looking for some fried chicken and waffles and other traditional breakfast items. Consumers have been eating less breakfast at home and instead are gravitating to visiting restaurants for their morning meal, especially those with grab n' go options

The fast casual’s management includes experienced restaurant professionals, including the Founder Kevin Warden, who was previously at Which Wich and both Quirino “Q” Silva and Dallas Miller from the Texas chain, Country Line.

“Our team could not be more excited to finally unveil details surrounding Flyrite’s second location, and we look forward to now serving North Austin residents for years to come,” said Kevin Warden, FlyRite owner in a press release. “The positive feedback and overall support from our first location on East 7th has been truly overwhelming, and we are so glad to call Austin our home. We cannot wait to get these grand opening celebrations underway, especially with all of the amazing giveaways we will be doing throughout the day, which will serve as a token of our appreciation to the entire Austin community.”

To promote the new location, the brand is having a Grand Opening All-Day Celebration, where the restaurant will be giving away prizes, including “Flyrite For A Year” giveaways. The "Early Bird Gets the Worm" giveaway will be held in the morning, where guests have a chance to win one free breakfast entree and one cup of coffee per week for a full year.

The second “Chicken & Beer for a Year," will be held from noon to 10 pm and the winner will get to order one free combo option, with the choice of craft beer or soda from the menu per week for an entire year.

To enter, guest can purchase one regular entrée item or pay $10 for an additional raffle ticket. Random surprise giveaways from other local businesses will be given throughout the day.

Will Flyrite take off in Texas and then eventually expand nation-wide? And will the concept be able to compete with established chicken-focused chains, like PDQ and Honey Butter Chicken
