The numbers for January’s Chicago #Foodable25 restaurants are in, and there has been quite a shift in the rankings since December. Taking BellyQ’s No. 1 spot is Grace, which climbed up from No. 3. BellyQ falls to No. 5 for January. Aside from a few minor shifts in ranking numbers for the restaurants who have managed to hold on for another month, January brings a lot of first-timers to the list, meaning a handful were also kicked off.
Congratulations to the Foodable 25 first-timers, including CH Distillery, Next, Frontera Grill, Alinea and Tanta. The Publican is back on the list after falling off in December, but falling off this month are Carriage House, Table, Donkey and Stick, Avec, Au Cheval, Chez Moi and Urban Belly.
Helmed by Curtis Duffy, Grace has a Social Score of 144.95, showing that consumers on social have very positive sentiment of the restaurant. Always presented in beautiful fashion from the restaurant’s visible kitchen, Grace’s dishes are unique, precise and memorable. Its menu is broken into two choices: Flora or Fauna, depending on whichever piques your palate. From design aesthetic down to the plating, Grace has clearly made an impact on consumers in January.
