For the first time in Dallas Top 25 history, Lucia finds its way to No. 1 (from No. 5 in February) with a Social Score of 178.63. Hattie’s has been on a winning streak, but this month, it slips to No. 8, the lowest it’s been in a while. Abacus and Pecan Lodge keep consistent in spots No. 2 and No. 3, respectively.
Nestled in the Bishop Arts District, Lucia is an intimately sized, Italian-inspired restaurant owned by Chef David Uyghur and his wife Jennifer. According to its website, Lucia’s chefs make fresh bread, hand-crafted salumi and pasta in-house daily. The restaurant’s menu changes frequently, but its sample menu includes dishes like squid’s ink tonnarelli with Nantucket bay scallops, citrus, sea urchin, chile and breadcrumbs, and Berkshire pork shank with parsley puree and fall root vegetables.
This month, Fearing’s, Rosewood Mansion on Turtle Creek and Savor all hop back on the list for the first time since December, and we welcome Dallas Top 25 newbie Del Frisco’s Steakhouse.
