Denise Toledo has spent the last 5 years honing her journalistic skills as a multi-media reporter. She has worked in radio, TV and web broadcasting, culminating in a full understanding of multi-format broadcast techniques. After spending a year reporting for NPR, Denise began her television career reporting on everything from local news, to special features, to international affairs. Coming in during the modern age of reporting, Denise pitched, filmed, and edited all of her own pieces. She has received AP and PRNDI awards for her reporting on stories such as “The Search for Christian Aguilar” and election coverage.
While working on her Master’s degree at the University of Florida, Denise also spent 2 years teaching undergraduate students camera and reporting work, not only for news but also for cinematic filming. In her free time, Denise loves trying new recipes or running on nature trails. Denise is currently completing her graduate thesis while working as a Producer at Foodable pitching new content, coordinating episode shoots, and overseeing post-production of network shows.
