The Las Vegas Top 25 Restaurants for June 2016 are in, based on consumer data collected by Foodable Labs. The top 5 got a good shaking up.
The top five is a combination of brand newcomers and old favorites. Last quarter’s one and two, Scarpetta and Bardot Brasserie, fall to three and four — pushed out by Andiron at No. 2 (whose first time on the list was in January before falling off the following quarter) and brand-newcomer to the list, Portofino, who took No. 1. Rounding out the top five is another brand-newcomer Harvest by Roy Ellamar.
Portofino, in the Mirage, is described as “handcrafted Italian coastal cuisine,” to which world-class executive chef Michael LaPlaca provides a modern twist. Everything from the burrata agnolotti to the crab cake arancini is prepared to order and made by hand with simple ingredients.
Andiron Steak & Sea, described as “a celebration of classic and contemporary,” on its website, elegantly features “all things grilled, roasted, seared, and shucked” from calamari, crab, and lobster to shrimp and oysters.
