A "small town" city, especially when it comes to the culinary scene, breeds tons of competition. Miami epitomizes this. At the end of the day, however, it all comes down to consumer choice - which restaurants are winning on social with consumer sentiment and influence?
Our October list, just like every month, shows a shift – some more subtle than others. Still making the list for October, this month's biggest move was The Dutch, down from No. 4 in September to No. 25 this month. Michael's Genuine fell from the top spot and flip-flopped with The Forge. Helmed by Shareef Malnik, this see and be seen restaurant offers diners a full experience - from its decor to its food and drink selection. Executive Chef Dewey LoSasso's dinner menu includes everything from Truffle Burger sliders to gnocchi. The dessert menu is also indulgent, and the extensive drink selection offers some of the best top-shelf offerings. But what really makes this a stand-out is The Forge's atmosphere, channeling a New York feel. With almost 2K Twitter followers and more than 6K Facebook fans, it's no surprise that The Forge is rocking it on both the Miami scene and the social media scene.
