While our monthly Foodable Top 25 Restaurant rankings focuses on local markets — and therefore, pulls out hidden gems and less big brands — our National Top 25, pulled quarterly, reflects the big guys in the game. Through our proprietary Restaurant Social Media Index (RSMI), we track sentiment, engagement, influence, and location-based actions from more than 55 million U.S. consumers across 17 social platforms to showcase which restaurant brands are championing the space and which ones aren’t getting much love. While quarterly sales are obviously important, the core of everything in restaurant & hospitality comes down to what consumers are saying — and whether they're taking action — in relation to your brand.
