It's been a while, folks, but the Top 25 has returned to the Nation's Capital. And with the divine cuisine D.C. has to offer, it should be known as the Nation's Food Capital. Check out a handful of old favorites and a newcomer to the scoreboard!
In this round of the food fight, MINTWOOD Place has taken the throne at No. 1 with the score of 174.11. Its victory is even more impressive, considering in the last Top 25, it was barely hanging onto the board at No. 22. Give a round of applause (or your name for reservations) to MINTWOOD Place for this huge jump. Little Serow, the previous leader in the Top 25, has fallen to No. 2 with a close score of 173.83.
If it's all Greek to you, check out Kapnos. This new top 25 restaurant has guests enjoy spit-roasted and stone-baked good eats seven days a week. It debuted into the countdown at No. 12. But if you're a fan of familiar faces, let's welcome back these restaurants who have finally returned to the Top 25 since their last appearance in August 2014: Proof, Iron Gate (which happens to be the oldest operating restaurant in the area) and Toro Toro.
